Fintiri’s ex-commissioner, Tangwami, declares for Adamawa Gov race under APC

A former Commissioner under Governor Ahmed Fintiri, Hon Felix Tangwami, has joined the 2027 Adamawa governorship race on the APC ticket.

Declaring his intention during a press conference in Yola, Hon Tangwami, said the skills, competence, capacity and experience he has gathered over the years, will help take Adamawa to the promised land.

He emphasised that he will consolidate on progress made, strengthen unity and build a more prosperous future for the people of Adamawa state.

The former Commissioner for Health, noted that Adamawa in the last 6 years, have witnessed tremendous progress which have changed the development trajectory of the state especially in the areas of infrastructure, human capital development, rural urban development, health, education among others.

“I have come with an agenda to include: infrastructures, education, health, agriculture, commerce and industry, environment, civil service reform, housing development, security, peace and unity among diverse tribes in the state.

He accordingly said, his leadership will be guided by fairness, justice and inclusivity and appointments, policies and programmes will reflect the diversity for which Adamawa state is known for, adding that, he will also promote interfaith dialogue, mutual respect and unity at all levels.
