The Federal College of Education, Okene, Kogi State has announced another admission window for prospective candidates seeking admission into its Dual Mandate (NCE-Degree) programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The College, in a handbill made available to newsmen, said the programme offers a seamless transition from NCE to Degree, allowing students to earn both the Nigeria Certificate in Education and a Bachelor’s degree within five years.

Under the arrangement, admitted students will run NCE I, NCE II and NCE III in the first three years before proceeding to Degree IV and Degree V in the final two years to obtain a Bachelor’s degree. Candidates also have the option to stop after obtaining the NCE with four credit passes or continue for the degree with five credits.

According to the management, one of the special attractions of the programme is that no JAMB result is required for admission, although candidates with JAMB results are also eligible to apply.

Applicants need four credit passes in relevant subjects to qualify for the NCE programme and five credits to continue to degree level.
