The Kogi State Government, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Alhaji Nasiru Soso, a former Chairman of Okene Local Government Council and a former Auditor General of the state, describing his passing as a monumental loss to the people of Kogi State.

In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, the government paid glowing tribute to the late Alhaji Soso, describing him as a political colossus, a dedicated public servant, and a tireless advocate for peace, unity, and development.

The Chief Servant of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, described the departed hero as “an astute community leader, development enthusiast and an advocate of peace and unity who will be greatly missed by the people of the state.”

The Governor praised Alhaji Soso’s enduring legacy, noting that his contributions to governance and community development left a mark that will outlive him.
