The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Grassroots Mobilization, Hon. Enejoh Sani, has commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his compassion and commitment to the welfare of the families of late APC leaders in the state.

Hon. Sani particularly praised the governor for visiting the family of the late APC Divisional Chairman in Dekina Local Government Area and for taking concrete steps to support the deceased family.

He expressed appreciation to Governor Ododo for approving scholarship opportunities for the children of the deceased, covering their education up to the university level. He also commended the governor for granting automatic employment to the deceased chairman’s wife in the Kogi State Civil Service.

According to Sani, the interventions go beyond immediate assistance, as they provide the family with a sense of security and hope while ensuring that the children can continue their education despite the loss of their father.

He described the gesture as a reflection of Governor Ododo’s compassionate leadership and commitment to recognising the sacrifices of those who contributed to the growth of the APC and the development of their communities.

The Special Adviser also applauded the governor for extending his gesture of compassion to Ijumu Local Government Area, where he visited the family of the late Ijumu APC Chairman.

Enejoh Sani said the governor’s visits to the families of the deceased APC chairmen demonstrated that his administration values people and does not forget those who served the party and their communities.

He also expressed his appreciation to Alh. Yusuf Okala, for his support and contribution towards the welfare initiatives, describing his efforts as commendable and worthy of recognition.

Sani further thanked Hajia Rabietu Okute, Commissioner for Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation, for her commitment and role in ensuring that the needs of vulnerable families receive appropriate attention from the government.

He said the combined efforts of Governor Ododo, Alh. YY Okala and Hajia Rabietu Okute, demonstrate the administration’s commitment to building a government that responds to the needs of citizens, particularly families facing difficult circumstances.

The Special Adviser reaffirmed his support for the administration and urged the people of Kogi State to continue to support Governor Ododo, saying that his actions have continued to demonstrate compassion, responsibility and commitment to grassroots development.
