The Kogi East APC Legacy Group, has commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his quick response to infrastructure demands from stakeholders in Kogi East Senatorial District, especially the take-off of key road and secondary school projects.
In a statement issued by its spokesperson, Dr. Johnson Musa, the group said two recent public notices from relevant state agencies showed that some of the critical projects in its memorandum to the governor have now entered formal procurement and contract-award stages.
According to Dr. Musa, the group presented the comprehensive memorandum to Governor Ododo last month. The document prioritized roads, education, electricity, healthcare, water supply and security, among other pressing needs in Kogi East.
The group described the latest developments as clear evidence that the administration is listening to the people and taking practical steps to address their concerns.
“Kogi East stakeholders are encouraged by this prompt action. It shows the government’s commitment to equitable development across the state,” the statement read.
The group added that it would continue to monitor progress on the projects while appreciating Governor Ododo for responding positively to the infrastructure concerns raised by the district.
