Umomi chief extols the leadership qualities of Ata Igala

The Agenyi Ata Igala Umomi community, in Ofu Local Government Area, of Kogi State, HRH, Chief Amade Salifu, has extolled the sterling leadership qualities of the Ata Igala, HRM, Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa.

Chief Amade Salifu gave the commendation during his coronation at the palace of the Ata Igala in Idah.

He said that as custodian of traditions and customs, Ata’s reign has provided guidance to his subjects and sterling leadership to traditional rulers across Igalaland.

The Umomi community chief described Ata Igala’s leadership qualities as an embodiment of peace and humility; just as he acknowledged that his legacies were worthy of emulation by all Igala sons and daughters both at home and in the diaspora.

Chief Salifu also appreciated the royal father for considering him worthy to serve in the present position and assured not to disappoint him and Igalaland

He also used the opportunity to urge all sons and daughters of Umomi community and Igalaland, to provide the necessary support and contributions that would help Igala kingdom grow.
