The ceremony will take place at his residence along National Bank Road, Okene.
The nomination of Mallam Okidi as the 16th Ohindase of Okengwe-Ehi, a first-class traditional stool, has been approved by the Kogi State Government.
In a statement issued in Okene this week, the coronation planning committee said a nine-day programme of traditional, cultural and social activities has been lined up to mark the event.
Established in 1750, the stool of Ohindase is one of the oldest and most revered traditional stools in Ebiraland.
Until his appointment, the new monarch was a retired Director of Education under the Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
The new Ohindase, who ascends the throne at 65, hails from the Asade sub-clan of the Omavi Ruling House.
Meanwhile, Okengwe and Okene township are already in a festive mood as indigenes eagerly await the coronation ceremony.
