The Ohi of Okene, HRH Alhaji Isa Mamman, has felicitated with the President of the Igbo Community in Ebira land, High Chief  Joseph Anikwe, on his installation and coronation as Ozor by his home community of Nporogwu Ukehe in Igbo-Etiti LGA, Enugu State.

The coronation ceremony, held last weekend, attracted dignitaries including a delegation from the Okene District Council, members of the Association of Igbos in Ebira land, and other well-wishers.

In a goodwill message delivered at the event by the Ohi’s Palace Secretary, the traditional ruler described the new Ozor, as “a man of peace, a versatile personality, and a bridge builder”, whose negotiation skills have helped foster peace and harmony between the Igbo and Ebira people.

The Ohi urged Chief Anikwe to use his new traditional title in service to his people both at home and in Ebira land.
