The Oba Yoruba of Lokoja, Alhaji Bello Audu Oke, has commended Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his elevation to the status of a first-class monarch.
The monarch described Governor Ododo as a detribalized leader who treats all citizens equally, irrespective of ethnic or religious background.
Speaking with newsmen in Lokoja, Oba Audu Oke, said he is the recognized head of the Yoruba community in Kogi State, with roots across Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Kwara, Ondo, and Ekiti States, as well as Yoruba indigenes resident in Kogi.
He expressed appreciation to the governor for the promotion, saying he was overwhelmed by the recognition and the respect accorded the Yoruba people in the state.

The Oba further described Governor Ododo as a visionary leader who, within three years in office, has recorded significant strides in both human capital and infrastructural development.
He added that the governor has done enough to deserve a second term, and expressed optimism that both Governor Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, would be victorious in their respective elections.
