Kwara Governor praises citizens for upholding peace

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq, has lauded the residents of the state, including the youth, for their commitment to maintaining peace and harmony.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, and shared with journalists in Ilorin, the governor emphasised his appreciation for the state collective decision to avoid past conflicts.

Governor Abdulrazaq, expressed pride in the people of Kwara, noting that their commitment to peace reflects their true character.

He urged everyone to continue on this positive path, emphasising that the state should be free from violence, conflict, and loss of lives and property.

“I am deeply proud of every Kwaran today,” the governor stated. “Our current peace is a testament to who we are, and we must sustain it. We should avoid actions that could lead to violence or harm.”

He also acknowledged the wisdom of both the elderly and the youth in choosing peaceful and constructive engagement.

“God bless you all for your dedication to safety, peace, and harmony,” he added.
