KSSTF chairman urges Kogi residents to be vigilant during Easter

The Executive Chairman , Kogi State Security Trust Fund, AVM Omeiza Umar (Rtd), has urged all the people of the state to be vigilant during the Easter celebrations and support security agencies as they strive to ensure iincident free celebrations in the state.

The call is contained in a Goodwill Message the Executive Chairman issued, on the Occasion of the 2025 Easter Celebration.

The statement encouraged members of the public to be security conscious and mindful of their environment during the Easter celebrations, while ensuring they collaborate with the relevant security agencies for a safer state.

He used the medium to felicitate with Christians in the state and across the world on the occasion of Easter, urging them to allow the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to guide their thoughts and actions.

As we mark these important religious festivity, I urge all residents to celebrate responsibly and remain vigilant. Let us continue to support and cooperate with our security agencies in maintaining peace and order across the state” the statement further added.

The Chairman then reassured the public that Kogi State Security Trust Fund remains steadfast in its mission to strengthen our security architecture through strategic partnerships and resource mobilization. Adding that ‘Together, we can build a secure environment that allows all citizens to thrive”.
