Some streets in Lokoja the Kogi State capital are wearing a new look as the year draws to a close.

The fine decorations which are initiatives of the State Government are ment to herald the season of Christmas and New Year.

Some of the popular areas include the Government House round about as well as the NTA junction.

The decorations and colourful lights are better appreciated at night.

Some new generation banks and private business outlets in Lokoja the state capital have also joined in giving the city a facelift.

Since the initiative was introduced, it has being attracting visitors at night to the various spots spread across the city.

Members of the public trickle in mostly at night to either catch a glimpse or gather round to take pictures.
