The Clerk, Kogi State House of Assembly and Head of Legislative Service, Alh. Chogudo Ahmed, has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Kogites on the occasion of the celebration of the State’s creation 34 years ago.

Alh. Chogudo in a statement signed by the Deputy Clerk Administration and General Service of the House, Aka Adebayo Michael, and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, said Kogi had come so far as a result of unity and hard work.

“while we are still a work in progress, I believe that we will achieve a greater Kogi.”

The Clerk commended successive administrations, both military and civil, for contributing their quota to the development of the State thus far.

He equally thanked traditional, religious and community leaders, security agencies, the political class and citizens for their contributions to the growth and development of the state since its creation.

Alh. Chogudo called on the people to sustain their support for the Ododo led administration for the good of the state and its people.

“On behalf of the Management team and the entire staff members of Kogi State House of Assembly, I congratulate His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, Governor of Kogi State and the entire citizens of the state on the occasion of this 34th anniversary.

“Since August 27th, 1991, when the state was created, subsequent administrations had continued to build on the successes recorded by previous administrations.

“As we celebrate this year’s anniversary, it is my prayer that God will continue to bless our state even as we support the Ododo led administration to deliver on his campaign promises.
