Governor Ahmadu Unaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, has congratulated Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his victory at the just concluded governorship election in the state.
Fintiri said, the outcome of the election is a reflection of the will of the people and their desire for continuity, good governance and people leadership.
The statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the state governor, Humwashi Wonosikou, described Adeleke’s victory as well deserved and expressed confidence in his ability to sustain developmental initiatives across Osun State.
“I congratulate Senator Ademola Adeleke on his well deserved victory. I do not doubt that he will continue to deliver on his mandate to transform Osun State and improve the lives of it’s citizenss.”

He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for what he described as statesmanship and commitment to democratic principles during the electoral process.
According to him, the President has demonstrated respect for democracy by allowing the electoral process to proceed without interference.
“I must commend President Bola Tinibu, for standing on the side of democracy. By not interfering with the outcome of the process and by ensuring that the right thing was done, he has proven himself to be a true democrat. This is how democracy grows when the will of the people is respected irrespective of party lines.”
Fintiri however, urged political stakeholders and residents of Osun State, to accept the outcome of the election in good faith and work together for the existing development of the state.
“I pray for wisdom, strength and divine guidance for Governor Adeleke as he continues to lead the state,” he added.
