The Executive Council members of the Adamawa state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has been inaugurated with the charged to be worthy ambassadors of the party.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, gave the charge, during the inauguration of the newly elected party leadership, urging them to maintain the party’s status quo come 2027 election.
Fintiri who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, at the Banquate Hall Government House Yola, also charged the new party leadership to reconcile and unite the aggraved members.
He said there is need for them to work together for the interest of the party and with all stakeholders for the party to form a formidable and stronger team in the state.
He advised the Exco to ensure they carry every one along, especially the women and youths for positive development and internal democracy in the party.
Speaking earlier, the former state party Chairman Barrister Abubakar Shehu, who appreciated members of party for their support and cooperation throughout their tenure in office enjoined them to extend the gesture to the new exco.
In his address, the newly inaugurated Chairman Hon Hamza Madagali, described his emergence as victory for all. Until his emergence, Hamza Madagali, was former Chairman of Madagali local government and organising secretary of the party.
Other executive committee members include: Engineer Belmond Dogo as State Deputy Chairman. The three Vice Chairmen are Umar Sahid (South), Shekarau Yerima (Central), and Steven Doma (North) amongst others.
