Ata Igala confers Omachi Ata title on Chief Edimeh Yakubu

The Ata Igala, HRM, Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, has conferred the Omachi Ata Igala title, on Chief Edimeh Yakubu (G1), with a charge to enhance development at the grassroots.

He was Conferred with the title at a colorful coronation ceremony attended by family, friends and well wishes in Idah.

Speaking while performing the traditional coronation rites on chief Yakubu (G1), the Ata Igala urged him to see his new position as a call for enhanced service delivery and an ambassador of Igala kingdom

He equally charged him to promote peace, love and harmony within his community without which he noted development cannot be achieved.

Responding, the new Omachi Ata Igala, Chief Yakubu, appreciate the royal father for considering him for such honour and assured him of his determination not to disappoint him and Igalaland in general.

He then urged Igala sons and daughters both at home and in the diaspora to join hands with the Ata Igala to attract developmental projects to the Igala kingdom.
