The new Adoyi Ata Igala of Igwu London community in Ofu Local Government Area, Chief Peter Yusuf Ikoyi, has pledged to champion peace and unity in the interest of community development.
Chief Ikoyi was coronated by the Ata Igala, HRM, Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, at a ceremony held in Idah.
He described his new status as a means for strengthening social cohesion as well as support for the sustainable development of the area.
The new Adoyi Ata Igala of Igwu London community, assured the Ata Igala of his commitment towards actualizing his vision and mission of a better and prosperous Igala land ; just as he appreciated the Ata for considering him worthy to serve and promised not to disappoint him.

He than used the occasion to call on Igala sons and daughters of Igwu London to prioritise brotherliness wherever they find themselves.
Earlier, the Ata Igala while performing the traditional coronation ceremony, charged Chief Peter Yusuf Ikoyi to be upright as well as lead by example in his new position.
