From Joseph Adahnu, Yola

The Adamawa state chapter of African Democratic Congress (ADC) Youths coalition, has called for the dissolution of the party executives in the State under the leadership of Comrade Shehu Yohanna.

The call was made in a Press conference by an ADC factional Chairman coalition, Comrade Mohammed Adamu at the NUJ Press Center in Yola.

Ademu, who claimed to speak on behalf of ADC Youths in Adamawa State, called on the National Executive of the party to urgently dissolve the leadership structure of the party in the State.

He alleged that, Comrade Shehu Yohanna led ADC leadership in the state, is facing crisis while Alh. Mustapha Arabi aspirations to lead the party is hampered on illwind and cannot do the party any good. What needs to be done, he said is outright dissolution of the party exco.

He accordingly, said, the teeming Youths under the ADC deserves progressive minded leaders who will start strategising for the 2027 race which the ADC is hoping to win all elective seats.

In his swift reaction, the ADC State sitting Chairman, Comrade Shehu Yohanna, said the ADC does not recognise those who are frivolously addressing the media on the role of the party leadership because the party, has been able to coordinate it’s affairs well to welcome eminent personalities into the party and those who had abandoned the party are sponsoring such reckless youths from attempting to deray the speedy progress leadership under his watch.

According to Comrade Yohanna, the party needs all hands on deck to build a gigantic party that can win election at the national and State levels in all elective positions. Pointing out that ADC, needs vibrant youths with requisite ideas to move the party forward not those who would be sponsored to distract or cause commotion in the party.

Shehu on strong terms, called on the elders of the party to call them to order to stop distracting the smooth progress of the ADC.

Yohanna, warned the youths to desist from calling the national secretariat of the party, filled with eminent personalities, who are shining stars of Nigeria’s example of leadership at it’s highest level.

The ADC national secretariat should reject such innuendos saying that Adamawa ADC is in tandem with Senator David Mark, the National Chairman and Rauf Aregbesola, the National Secretary of the ADC to move the nation forward, Shehu said.
