From Joseph Adahnu, Yola

‎A founding father of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), former state Chairman and Governor Ahmadu Umaru ‎Fintiri’s most Senior Special Adviser, Chief Joel Madaki, has dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

‎Reports has it that, the one time party leader took the decision to dump Fintiri over unfair treatment and differences. It alleged neglect and dearth of patronage befitting of a politician of his pedigree.

‎Confirming this defection, the state organising secretary, Mustapha Ribadu, said the respected elder statesman is now a party member of APC following his departure from PDP.

‎He said the coming of Madaki will add a lot of verve and vitality to the party considering his immense clout and grassroot muscle.

‎”The coming of the respected leader is just a tip of the iceberg in terms of the ability of our great party to attract people of immense value into it. More leaders from all walks of life have also indicated their interest to join the already moving train as no one wants to be left out.

‎”Not long from now, a tsunami will hit the PDP that will render it inconsequential as all those who matter the most will leave the party to the most sought after party, the APC. 2027 election will be a platform for APC’s renaissance and complete take over of the state,” he said.
