The body of former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, this afternoon, after his death in the United Kingdom.
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State, his Deputy, Elder Joel Oyibo, former Governor Idris Wada and the immediate past Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and politician, Chief Joseph Erico were among dignitaries that received his remains.

Some members of the Kogi State Executive Council, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Ali Bello, Auditor-General of Kogi State, Alhaji Yakubu Okala, former Kogi State Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Hon. Tim Diche were equally on the ground to receive the corpse alongside some family members of the late former governor.
