A former strong aspirant with All Progressive Congress (APC) Adamawa state chapter, has rejoined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in the state over lack of democractic substance.
The aspirant, Hon Morris Vunobolki, made the announcement of his return to PDP while briefing journalists at his campaign office on Thursday in Bekaji Yola Adamawa state.
“I, with about 3000 of my supporters across the state, have accordingly completed our e-registration as of 19th of April, 2026”.
According to him, the decision of his return to PDP, was following the party’s open and inclusive platform, that upholds internal democracy and encourages constructive criticism.
Vunobolki said he made the decision, after he engaged in extensive consultations with supporters, political associates and stakeholders across the state and national level.
Recall that Vunobolki had resigned from the APC, on the 14th of April where he alleged lack of fairness and voters registration manipulation by the party
Vunobolki maintained that he remained steadfast in contributing meaningfully to the growth and progress of Adamawa state, through transparent leadership, inclusive governance and politics that expands opportunities for youth, women and Grassroot communities.
