Obaro Iyamoye joins ancestors

Iyamoye community of Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, has lost its monarch, Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh.

A statement from his family signed by Prince Muhammad Shuaibu, revealed that the deceased died last Sunday.

The statement had read, “with total submission to the will of Almighty God, we announce the passing of our beloved father and monarch, His Royal Highness, Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh, the Obaro of Iyamoye Kingdom.

“The transition of His Royal Highness marks the end of a remarkable era of peace, wisdom, and purposeful leadership.”

The statement further acknowledged that throughout his reign, “Kabiyesi was known for his humility, fairness, and unwavering commitment to the unity and development of Iyamoye and Okunland at large.

“His reign brought stability, progress, and renewed cultural pride to our community. As a father to all, he inspired generations through his wisdom, compassion, and dedication to the welfare of his people.

“His legacy will remain a guiding light for the present and future generations of Iyamoye sons and daughters.

“We take solace in the fulfillment of his impactful life and pray that Almighty God grants his noble soul eternal rest and comfort all who mourn this great loss.”

On details regarding burial arrangements, the statement said, “will be communicated in due course from the right channel.”
