The Governing Council of the Federal College of Education, Okene, has approved the appointment of Mr. Biachi Godwin Nnamdi as the substantive Bursar of the College.The approval was given at the Council’s 81st regular meeting held on 23rd September, 2026.
Mr. Biachi succeeds Mr. Olaewe Jacob Olusegun, who completed two terms of five years, and Dr. Omole Peter, who served in acting capacity for six months.
Until his appointment, Mr. Biachi was the Deputy Bursar and Head of Final Account Division at the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo State.Born on 31st May, 1976 in Oyo State, Mr. Biachi hails from Idumuje-Unoh in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.
He also obtained a National Diploma in Accounting from the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State, and a Diploma in Computer Data Processing and Finance.

A Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Mr. Biachi also holds a Certificate of Conversion to the Procurement Cadre from the Bureau of Public Procurement, among other professional qualifications.
