Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has extended heartfelt condolences to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, over the death of his mother, Mama Lydia Goshwe Yilwatda.

In a condolence letter personally signed by the Governor, Ododo described the passing of Mama Lydia as “a painful loss,” noting that she lived a life defined by faith, love, and selfless service to God and humanity.

The Governor stated that the values instilled by Mama Lydia in her children are evident in the remarkable contributions of Prof. Yilwatda to the APC and to the nation at large.

“Mama Lydia’s peaceful spirit and enduring legacy will remain a source of strength and inspiration, not only to her family but to all who were touched by her life,” Ododo wrote.

He assured the APC National Chairman of his prayers and support, while asking God to grant him and his family the fortitude to bear the loss and to grant the soul of Mama Lydia eternal rest.
