Kogi Teachers laud Governor Ododo over promotion implementation

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has been praised for  implementing promotions of Basic Education Teachers in the state.

The Kogi State wing of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Ayoola Abayomi gave the commendation while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja.

Comrade Ayoola on behalf of the Union, expressed gratitude to Governor Ododo for the implementation and described the gesture as demonstration of passionate interest in the welfare of civil servants.

His words ” Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, has onece again proven his passionate love for civil servants across boards. His name will remain indelible in life’s history for his deep understanding of human peculiarities.

“When you have a Governor who places priority on your happiness through prompt payment of salaries even ahead of festive periods, who introduces free health care and implement your promotions, what else do we want? When a state is lucky to have such, people agitate less in their prayers and be more thankful to God for having such an humane leader like Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.”

He equally thanked his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo and the State Accountant General, Hajia Habibat Onumoko, for their supports towards civil servants emphasising that Basic Education Teachers across boards will remain committed to the second term bid of the All Progressive Congress (APC) led administration in the state.

Ayoola equally felicitate with the Governor and the members of his cabinet on the occasion of Ed-el- Fitr and enjoined teachers to continue to pray for the present administration and more prosperous years ahead.
