We are very much ready -Ondo REC reiterated

The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), in charge of Ondo state, Oluwatoyin Babalola, has reiterated the Commission’s commitment to tomorrow’s election saying, everything about tomorrow Saturday’s election in Ondo is ready and in-tight.

She stated this while answering questions from journalists on Friday in Akure, Ondo state capital.

According to her, “we have created enough awareness and deployed multiple means of information to the public on the election exercise.

“We have deployed our BVAS, also, INEC officers has been deployed too and we have 812 of them as reserve.

“In case there would be any fault from BVAS and others, we have adhoc staff, SPO, PO among others on ground as backup.

“As we are speaking with you now, most of the vehicles are on their way because we have to activate the RAS in the night so that it will be ready for the election tomorrow morning.

“We have equally seen the support of National Transport Road Workers (NTRW). You can see how they came out today very early in the morning to convey materials and staffs to their area of assignments.

“In the area of security, they have given us 30,000 personnel and we have trained them, ready for the exercise tomorrow and we are waiting for the feedback of those who left in the morning for the RAS”, she declared.

REC Babalola, therefore, urged all voters to come out enmass to cast their votes tomorrow as it is their right.

On the IReV, she said, in case there is no network, they can move to another side or area where there is network and load their results.
