The Onu Uru Odeke community in Ibaji Local Government, Chief Omachonu Gabriel, has pledged to champion peace unity and progress in the area and across Igalaland.
He made the pledge in Idah shortly after his coronation as the Onu Uru Odeke community by the Ata Igala ,HRM, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa.
Chief Gabriel promised to prioritise the development of his domain and partner with sons and daughters of the community as well as other relevant stakeholders to achieve rapid development at the grassroots.
He also used the occasion to mobilize sons and daughters of the community to support his peace initiatives and community development plans in the interest of the transformation of Igalaland.

The new Onu Uru Odeke appreciated the Ata Igala for considering him for the title and assured him of his determination not to disappoint him and Igalaland in general.
