In a significant move towards bolstering welfare programmes for the indigenes of Kogi State, the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) Evaluation Team visited the Kogi State Social Investment Programme Agency.
The team, comprising representatives from N-Power, GEEP Loan, HGSFP, and CCT, was welcomed by the State Coordinator, Hajia Aisha Omade.
The delegation, including Adebayo Matthew, Jimoh Salawudeen, and Muhammed Usman from JB Singhai Nigeria Limited Consultants, engaged in a brief yet strategic discussion with Hajia Omade.
The conversation focused on the development and enhancement of welfare initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Kogi State residents.
Owing to the significance of the day, Hon. Musa Usman, Senior Adviser to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Prince Bashir Abubakar, Senior Adviser on Hotel and Tourism, and Prince Zak Alhassan Otokiti from the Kogi State House of Assembly (Okehi Constituency), were also present. Their presence underscored the collaborative effort needed to advance the state’s welfare programmes.
Also, representatives from Zenith Bank Plc and the National Identity Management Commission met with Hajia Omade to explore future collaborations and opportunities aimed at benefiting the people of Kogi State.
This multifaceted meeting highlights a collective commitment to fostering sustainable development and improving the quality of life for the State’s citizens.
