Lokoja H’Court grants Akerejola family’s prayer for substituted service on People’s Gazette

The Akerejola family of Ogori has dragged an online media outfit, People’s Gazette purportedly based in Abuja and its Editor-in-Chief, Osita Sam Edeh, before a Lokoja High Court over a defaming publication in which the family name was dangerously maligned. Following series of failed attempts to serve the defendants the court notice due to deliberate invasions, the Court granted the prayers of the Claimant for substituted service brought before it by the Claimant’s Lawyer, N.A. Tanko, Esq. Hence, this notice.
