The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Aliyu Umar Yusuf, recently attended the birthday celebration of his Deputy, Rt Hon Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba.

The event, which took place in Lokoja, was also attended by other members of the Assembly and their spouses.

During the ceremony, Speaker Yusuf praised Deputy Speaker Egwaba, describing her as the “mother of the entire members” and a dependable ally.

He expressed his confidence in her ability to handle legislative issues and her commitment to the unity of the Assembly members.

Rt Hon Umar stressed that Ibaji is lucky to have Rt Hon Nwuchiola as their representative because of her passion for the development of Ibaji.

The Speaker also commissioned the Deputy Speaker’s residence, a gesture that underscores the strong working relationship between the two leaders.

The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman, also felicitated with Deputy Speaker Egwaba on her birthday, praising her exemplary diligence, humility, and selflessness
