Chief James Isah Umoru has been honoured with the chieftaincy title of Imaji Ata Igala with a charge to embrace teamwork and exemplary leadership in the discharge of his duties.
The Ata Igala, HRM Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, who gave the charge while performing the traditional chieftaincy rites at his palace in Idah, stressed that leadership without collaboration was bound to fail.
The Ata Igala described Chief James Umoru as a worthy and dependable son of Igala race, just as he equally enjoined Igala sons and daughters to be examplary in whatever positions they find themselves.
Responding the new Imaji Ata Igala , Chief James Umoru appreciated the royal father for considering him for such honour and assured him of his determination not to disappoint him and Igalaland in general,
He promised to use his connection to attract development to Egbolo community in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The new Imaji Ata Igala than used the occasion to urge Igala sons and daughters both at home and in the diaspora to join hands in developing Egbolo community and Igalaland in general.
