Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has sent a heartfelt condolence message to Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, following the passing of his mother, Mama Arametu Sanni Egidi.
The Governor described her death as a profound loss, not only to the family but also to everyone who knew her, praising her warmth, resilience and strong family values.
According to the Governor, “The late matriarch lived a life of grace, dignity, and selfless service. She was a pillar of strength to her family and a source of inspiration to her community.
“Her values are reflected in the upright and responsible life her children, particularly Hon. Sanni Abdulraheem, have continued to live in service to humanity and the nation,” he said.
He acknowledged that losing a mother is one of life’s most challenging experiences. He praised the deceased as a pillar of strength, whose prayers, guidance, and resilience held her family together.
He further encouraged the family to find comfort in the enduring legacy she left behind, marked by her faith, compassion, and the profound impact she had on those around her.
The Governor also extended his condolences to the people of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency and all those affected by the loss of Mama Arametu Sanni Egidi.
He prayed that Almighty Allah forgives her shortcomings and grants her a place in Aljanatul Firdaus.
The late Mama Egidi was buried according to Islamic rites, bringing closure to her loved ones.
