Ebiraland mourns as Ohinoyi’s in-law, Hajiya Aishat Sadiq, dies at 75

Ebiraland was thrown into mourning yesterday morning following the death of Hajiya Aishat Oyiza Sadiq, in-law to the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, HRM Alhaji Ahmed Tijjani Anaje. She was 75.

News of her passing came as a shock to residents, who described her as a mother figure to many in the community.

Community leader Mallam Hussein Sadiq, extended condolences to the monarch, saying, “Everything occurs by the will of Almighty God.”

He said Hajiya Aishat lived a fulfilled life and left behind a noble legacy. “Her loss is felt not just by the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, but by all residents of Kogi Central,” he added.

Mallam Hussein prayed that Allah would forgive her shortcomings and grant her eternal rest in paradise.

She has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
