The Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, has appointed Most Senior Special Apostle, Pastor Gabriel Kassim, as its new Acting Spiritual Father.
Kassim, who is the Chairman of the church’s New York District, was appointed with immediate effect following the death of the church’s former Spiritual Father, Prophet Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, who died on July 30, 2026, at the age of 93.
The appointment was announced by the Board of Trustees of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, after its Extraordinary Meeting held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at His Grace Vicarage, Galilee, Oyo State.
In a statement issued by the Conference Secretary General of the church, Senior Special Apostle Prophet Anthony Samaye, members were urged to give the newly appointed Acting Spiritual Father the necessary support, cooperation and respect as he takes up the responsibility.

Samaye also called on members of the church to remain united in prayers continue to uphold the leadership and work of God.
“The entire Church is enjoined to remain united in prayer and continue to uphold the leadership and the work of God,” the statement said.
The appointment, is expected to provide continuity in the spiritual leadership of the church, following the passing of Prophet Alogbo, whose death brought an end to a long chapter in the leadership of the Ayo Ni O movement.
The church leadership urged members and stakeholders to rally behind the new Acting Spiritual Father as the movement continues its spiritual mission and activities.
