From David Onuoja, Abuja

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), revealed that, the national grid has experienced a partial disturbance on 5th November 2024, but however, said that, the restoration is already ongoing.

In a statement signed and issued in Abuja by the General Manager, Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah confirmed that the disturbances affected supply of power but that the restoration is already ongoing.

According to her, “this followed a series of lines and generators tripping that caused instability of the grid and, consequently, the partial disturbance of the system.

“The data from the National Control Centre (NCC) revealed that a part of the grid was not affected by the bulk power disruption.
