Legal Luminary and APC Stalwart, Sir Debo Aderibigbe, has congratulated the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, on his conferment of the traditional title of Sardauna Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate, by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR.

Sir Aderibigbe Esquire, in a statement, highlighted the role of Sardauna as the Generalissimo of the Emirate, describing it as well deserved in view of Governor Abdulrazaq’s sterling leadership qualities and unequalled performance in all ramifications.

He equally added that the turbaning was a recognition of his exemplary leadership, commitment to good governance, and remarkable contributions to the development of Kwara State and the Ilorin Emirate.

The APC Stalwart mentioned the transformation of the City of Ilorin with the gradual implementation of the Smart City Initiative, rehabilitation of road networks within the City, beautification of the City, installation of street lights, modernization of schools and health centres.

He also listed the establishment of the Kwara State University of Education, International Conference Centre, the largest garment factory, Digital Innovation Hub, Digital Visual Arts Studio and the eye-catching skyscraper in the City-Revenue House, among some of the various achievements of Governor  Abdulrazaq’s sterling leadership.

Sir Aderibigbe stressed that the Governor had carried out various empowerment policies with the beneficiaries as traders, artisans, road transport workers, market women and young entrepreneurs.

The APC Stalwart described the Governor as a youth and women friendly person with the provision of scholarships to Students in tertiary institutions and for professional education, and the inclusion of women in his administration.

He acknowledged the improved security within the State, ensuring the protection of lives and properties, amongst other great achievements of the Sardauna.

The APC Stalwart described the visit of the Vice President, Senator Ibrahim Shettima, GCON, to the State to witness the turbaning and commissioning of projects as a good omen.

He prayed Almighty Allah to grant Governor Abdulrazaq the wisdom, strength, good health, guidance and requisite propensity to discharge the duties of the office of Sardauna.
