DG Govt House to be inducted fellow Chartered Institute of Administration

Director General, Government House Administration, Dr Umar Shaibu Oricha, is to be inducted as fellow, Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA), in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital.

The induction ceremony, will take place tomorrow, 14th August, 2025, at the Banquet hall, Government House Lokoja.

All Government officials, professionals, traditional rulers and friends are invited to the epoc making event which will commence at 10:am prompt.

The Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA), is a professional body in Nigeria that regulates the training and practice of administration in both the public and private sectors.

Established in 1987 and chartered by Act No. 103 in 1992, it aims to build a body of competent professional administrators and promote the science and techniques of management and administration.

The CIA offers professional qualifications and certifications, including the Chartered Administrator (CA) designation, which is a recognised professional qualification in administration.

The CA program covers various aspects of management and administration, including organisational behavior, leadership, strategic planning, and financial management.
