Audu Wokili Academy, Nagazi, has emerged overall winner of the 2025 edition of the Dynamic Ebira Friends Club Quiz Competition.

The initiative is in furtherance of the club’s Continuous Educational Support Programme aimed at promoting academic excellence across Ebiraland.
The grand finale of the 2025 edition of the annual quiz competition was held at the palace of the Ohinoyi Ebira in Okene.
The keenly contested competition featured ten finalists drawn from secondary schools across Ebiraland after a rigorous preliminary stage. At the end of the contest, Audu Wokili Academy, Nagazi, emerged as the overall winner of the 2025 edition.
Other schools that recorded impressive performances included Standard Model College, Bariki, Okene; Government Science Secondary School, Ogaminna; Ebira Community Secondary School, Ogaminna; and Williest International College, Abobo.
A major highlight of the event was the presentation of medals, certificates of participation, trophies, and cash prizes to the participating schools in recognition of their academic excellence and commendable performances throughout the competition.
In a significant boost to educational advancement in the area, four outstanding students were awarded fully funded university scholarships by the Dr. Abdullahi Ozomata Foundation, a long-standing partner of the Dynamic Ebira Friends Club.
One of the beneficiaries, Shehu Ahuoiza of Audu Wokili Academy, Nagazi, received an all-expense-paid scholarship covering her education up to the Master’s degree level, in recognition of her exceptional brilliance during the competition.
Similarly, Adams Nanahawa, Zakariyau Mufidat, and Hassan Yakubu, students of Audu Wokili Academy, Standard Model College, Bariki, and Government Science Secondary School, Ogaminna, respectively will qualify for the Master’s degree scholarship upon graduating from the university with First Class honours.
The grand finale attracted wide participation and was graced by several prominent dignitaries. Among those present were members of the Dynamic Ebira Friends Club led by the National President, Mallam Abdulrahman Ahmed, and the Immediate Past National President, Dr. Tijjani Ajayi, FCNA.
Other notable personalities at the event included the Kogi State Head of Civil Service, Dr. Elijah Evenemi; the Onizeiza of Ebiraland, Alhaji Abubakar Imam; and Dr. Abdullahi Ozomata, Technical Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kogi State on Multilateral and Donor-Funded Projects, alongside other distinguished sons and daughters of Ebiraland.
The preliminary round of the competition was held on November 24, 2025, across Adavi, Ajaokuta, Okehi, and Okene Local Government Areas, with 49 secondary schools participating.
The Dynamic Ebira Friends Club reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining educational development, promoting academic excellence, and empowering young people as a strategic pathway to sustainable development in Ebiraland.
