KOGI STATE AMIRUL HAJJ COMMENDS GOV.ODODO.

The state Amirul Hajj to this year’s holy pilgrimage to Mecca, HRH (Arch.) Abdulkareem Atta Yusuf, has attributed the success of this year’s Hajj exercise by pilgrims from the state, to the unwavering support of the state governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Dodo.
This commendation is contained in a statement issued by the Amirul Hajj, shortly after the successful return of the state contingents from the holy land.
The Amirul Hajj who is also the Ohi of Okengwe, thanked almighty Allah for granting him the privilege, strength and wisdom to lead a total of 473 pilgrims from the state to the holy land and returned them safely to their various destinations across the state.
The Amirul Hajj who attributed the success he recorded to the collective achievement of the traditional institution in the state, also expressed profound appreciation to the chairman of Kogi State Hajj Commission, Sheikh Imam Galadima for his exemplary leadership, dedication and tireless efforts which contributed to the success of the Hajj operation.
The royal father also commended members and staff of the commission for their commitment and professionalism.
He seized the opportunity to thank the state Accountant General, Hajiya Habibat Onumoko, for her encouragement and support.
The Amirul Hajj also seized the opportunity to express his appreciation to the Ohinoyi of Ebira land, the people of Okengwe and other kogites for their support and prayers that contributed to the historic achievement recorded in his assignment.
He prayed for continued peace, unity, prosperity, security and development of the state.
