The Clerk of Kogi State House of Assembly and Head of Legislative Service, Alh. Ahmed Chogudo, has extended warm Christmas and New Year greetings to the Legislative Staff and people of Kogi State, urging them to embrace hope, unity, and renewed dedication to service.

In a press statement signed by the Deputy Clerk Administration and General Service of Kogi State House of Assembly, Aka Michael, and released to newsmen, Chogudo described the Yuletide season as a period of reflection, love, and gratitude, calling on staff members to remain steadfast, optimistic, and committed to their responsibilities despite prevailing challenges.

He reassured staff of the Assembly of his unwavering commitment to their welfare, noting that the Legislative Service under his leadership would continue to prioritise staff welfare, capacity development, and the provision of a conducive working environment to enhance productivity and professionalism.

“Christmas is a season that reminds us of hope, sacrifice, and service to humanity. I want to assure all staff of the Kogi State House of Assembly that their welfare remains a top priority, and my office will continue to work tirelessly to improve their working conditions and overall well-being,” he said.

According to him, Governor Ododo’s policies and programmes are deliberate efforts aimed at improving the standard of living of Kogites, particularly through prompt payment of salaries, welfare-driven initiatives, and inclusive governance.

Alhaji Chogudo further prayed for a peaceful Christmas celebration and a New Year filled with greater achievements for staff of the Assembly and the entire state, calling on legislative personnel to continue to support the leadership of the House and the state government in building a stronger and more prosperous Kogi State.
