S.A. Labour Kogi West harps on unity, support for Tinubu and Ododo administration

In a visit by the team on Workplace Security Campaign to Yagba West and East Local Government Areas on Wednesday, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Kogi West, Comrade Ranti Ojo PhD, has called for one united front towards job sustainability and improved workers welfare.
Comrade Ojo PhD made the call while addressing the workers separately at the Secretariats in Odo-Ere and Isanlu, respectively.

The Senior Special Assistant said as workers, there was need to critically examine the performance of the present administration in order to take informed decisions that will continually benefit them and their dependants.
He noted that the achievements of the Governor since assumption of office was a clear indication that Governor Ododo has workers at heart.
Comrade Ojo PhD described the security sensitisation as one with two phases, explaining that it involves creating awareness on personal security and job security which should be taken seriously.
Also speaking, the leader of the team and Special Adviser on Labour matters, Comrade Onuh Edoka, stated that government is interested in the welfare of workers, citing the numerous achievements of Governor Ododo as evidence of responsive governance.
Comrade Edoka urged the workers to support the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Ododo in order to consolidate on the achievements recorded so far.

In his speech at Odo-Ere, Chairman of NULGE in the area, Comrade Olorunshola Helen Aduke, said the workers are happy with the present administration and passed a vote of confidence on the Governor.
Similarly, Chairman of NUP in Yagba East, Comrade Moses Oyebode, appreciated the government for its workers’ friendly policies and appealed for the payment of their gratuities in order to reduce the sufferings.
The highlight of the visits to the areas include cultural performances.
