On the number of ad-hoc staff for the election, the Chairman revealed that all the 4,104 polling units will be manned by three ad-hoc staff to include the security agencies.

He added that security agencies in the state had screened all the candidates involved in the election with none disqualified, adding that the Commission has no right to disqualify any candidate.

According to him, they are 60 contestants for the Chairmanship position across party lines in the 21 local government council seats.

He added: “Security has been beefed up in all local government areas where black spots were identified.”
