The Special Adviser on Security to the Jigawa State Governor, Dr. Usman Jahun, has donated uniforms to the vigilante group stationed at the Government House and State Secretariat.

Presenting the Uniforms to the beneficiaries, Dr. Jahun saud the gesture will enable the vigilante group to perform their duties diligently.

He highlighted the significant contributions of the vigilante group to the development of the state, underscoring the necessity for continued support to help them achieve their goals.

Dr. Jahun revealed that the administration of Governor Namadi, has donated operational patrol vehicles and motorcycles to security agencies within the state over the past two years to enhance the security situation in the State, and further initiatives will follow.

He commended the leadership of the vigilante group for their sacrifices, commitment, and collaboration with security agencies.

Umar Salisu Kazaure, Commander of the vigilante group in the State, expressed gratitude for the donation, describing it as commendable, and urged the beneficiaries to utilize the items effectively.

He assured that the vigilante group will continue to work closely with other security agencies to maintain safety in the state.
