According to him, the gathering also serves as a platform to remind staff of their responsibilities as public servants, particularly as regards the issue of punctuality, regular attendance, professionalism, and strict adherence to the civil service code of conduct.

He used the forum to remind staff and all other stakeholders that the development of Kogi State was a collective responsibility, adding that effective governance required the dedication and commitment of every civil servant, not just political office holders.

Speaking on behalf of the staff, the Director of Administration, Mrs. Diana Oyibo, expressed appreciation to the Commissioner for his continued support for staff welfare and the overall growth of the ministry.

She also commended the Permanent Secretary for his leadership style, which she said had encouraged cooperation, mutual understanding, and improved working relationship within the ministry, while assuring management of the staff’s continued commitment to the ministry’s goals.
