The Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN), Kwara State chapter, has congratulated Dr. Afeez Abolore, on his redeployment as the Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, expressing confidence in his ability to boost food production in the state.

In a statement, the state coordinator of RIFAN, Mallam Mohammed Salihu, described Dr. Abolore’s appointment as a strategic move that aligns with the state government’s vision for food sufficiency.

“He has the expertise and leadership qualities that will drive policies aimed at improving agricultural productivity and ensuring food security in Kwara,” Salihu stated.

He noted that Abolore’s experience in the Ministry of Solid Minerals would be an asset in repositioning the agriculture sector for greater efficiency.

The association also commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his commitment to bold reforms and investments in the agricultural sector, which they believe will further enhance farmers’ productivity.
