Oyebanji’s victory affirms peoples confidence in APC -Gov Ododo

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated his Ekiti State counterpart, Biodun Oyebanji, on his re-election, describing the victory as a confirmation of the peoples confidence in the rulling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The congratulatory message was contained in a press statement signed and issued by the Special on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah and made available to newsmen in Lokoja.

According to the statement, Governor Ododo hailed the victory at the weekend as a resounding endorsement of purposeful leadership and good governance.

He emphasised that the outcome of the election reflects the satisfaction of the people of Ekiti State with the performance of Governor Oyebanji and their desire to sustain the remarkable progress recorded under his administration.

The Governor it further added, noted that Governor Oyebanji has distinguished himself through people-oriented policies, prudent management of resources, infrastructural development and an inclusive approach to governance, earning the trust and support of the people of the state.

Governor Ododo, further observed that the re-election of Governor Oyebanji was a clear demonstration that the people of Ekiti State appreciate good governance and have chosen continuity, stability and development over uncertainty.

He said the impressive performance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the national level and the transformational leadership of Governor Oyebanji in Ekiti State have continued to strengthen the confidence of Nigerians in the APC as the vehicle for sustainable development and national progress.

Governor Ododo stressed that the outcome of the election was further proof that Nigerians know the party they can trust to deliver democratic dividends, strengthen institutions, improve security, expand economic opportunities and advance the welfare of the people.

“The people of Ekiti State have spoken loudly through the ballot. They have rewarded performance, vision and commitment to service. Governor Oyebanji is doing well in Ekiti State, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is providing purposeful leadership for Nigeria, and the people have once again demonstrated that they know the party they can trust.

“This victory is not only a triumph for Governor Oyebanji and the APC in Ekiti State, but also a strong affirmation of the confidence Nigerians continue to place in progressive governance and responsible leadership,” he said.

Governor Ododo expressed confidence that Governor Oyebanji’s new term would consolidate on the achievements already recorded in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture and economic development, bringing even greater prosperity to the people of Ekiti State.

He wished the Ekiti Governor continued wisdom, strength and success in the service of his people and assured him of the enduring partnership and cooperation between the governments and people of Kogi and Ekiti States.
