Ohinoyi receives Royal Father of the year award

Ohinoyi Ebiraland, Alh. Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, has been honored with the prestigious African Hero Award as the Traditional Ruler of the Year 2024.

This recognition which was bestowed upon him by Africa Image Communication, is a testament to his outstanding contributions to community development, promoting peace, unity, and cultural heritage.

The award ceremony, held at the Ayonete Hotel and Suites in Lokoja, was attended by distinguished guests who praised His Royal Majesty for his selfless leadership.

He is known for treating everyone with love, concern, and fairness, regardless of their background or tribe.

As the current Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Alh. Anaje, has had a profound impact on the community through his numerous initiatives and projects, promoting unity and peace.

The CEO of Africa Image Communication, Mr. Charles Owa, emphasised that the nation could learn from His Royal Majesty’s wisdom, particularly in promoting interfaith harmony and development. Saying the inter-faith monthly prayer services is a great feat to emulate.

The chairman of the occasion, Chief B. T Aina, described His Royal Majesty as a wise leader who inspires others with his words. He encouraged traditional leaders across Africa to emulate Ohinoyi of Ebira’s leadership style.

The award was presented to His Royal Majesty’s representative, HRH Alhaji Abdullahi Ismaila Aliyu Onumoko II.

In his response, Ohinoyi Ebira, who expressed gratitude for the recognition, said African leaders have the potentials to excel in leadership.

He concluded by praying for the organisation’s growth and the development of future leaders.
