They requested a dedicated permanent page to feature youth activities, concerns, and contributions across the state among others.

Comrade Enesi reaffirmed the youths’ strong backing for the governor, praising him as a youth-friendly leader who has bolstered security, infrastructure, and an enabling environment for citizens to thrive without fear.

Responding, Mr. Itopa commended the NYCN’s initiative, urging unity and positive engagement. He stressed the value of verifiable evidence in advocacy , likening it to proving an insect bite by showing blood.

While describing the governor’s works as a compelling story visible statewide. He encouraged youths to uphold peace, discipline, and service, shunning violence or thuggery.

The chairman used the occasion to clarify an internal issue, regarding Ogohi Samuel Usman from Dekina LGA, who he maintained was impeached over three years ago for misconduct and financial misappropriation. Adding that “he has been expelled and continues to impersonate the chairman’s role. He has even petitioned the EFCC against the government”

Enesi assured continued NYCN solidarity with Governor Ododo’s progressive, youth-oriented leadership.

The visit ended with appreciation from NYCN PRO, Comrade Owoniyi Jethro, pledging ongoing collaboration with the media and government to advance the interest of youths.

This engagement highlights NYCN’s commitment to constructive partnerships for youth visibility and support for good governance in Kogi State.
