NOA appoints new Director for Kwara as Adeyemi retires

The National Orientation Agency (NOA), has appointed Alhaji Dare AbdulGaniyu, as the new State Director for Kwara, following the retirement of Mr. Olusegun Adeyemi, who served the agency with dedication and distinction.

This was announced during a formal handover ceremony in Ilorin, where Mr. Adeyemi officially retired after reaching the age of 60.

His career was marked by his unwavering commitment to promoting national values, patriotism, and civic engagement across Kwara State.

In a statement made available to newsmen by NOA’s Public Relations Officer in Kwara, Dr. Raphael Adeyemi, it was confirmed that the transition was part of the agency’s routine leadership changes.

During his farewell speech, Mr. Adeyemi, expressed gratitude to NOA staff and partners for their support throughout his tenure.

“As I bow out today, I leave with a sense of fulfillment, knowing that NOA Kwara is on a strong footing,” he remarked.

He also expressed confidence in his successor, Alhaji AbdulGaniyu, to continue NOA’s mission in the state.

Alhaji AbdulGaniyu, who previously served as NOA Director in Kogi State, praised Mr. Adeyemi’s contributions and pledged to uphold the agency’s core values in Kwara.

“I am deeply honored to take on this role, and I look forward to continuing the work of promoting national unity, civic responsibility, and patriotism in Kwara,” AbdulGaniyu said.

He emphasized the need to leverage modern technology to enhance NOA’s public engagement and national reorientation efforts across the state.

The event, attended by officials from both national and state levels of NOA, saw accolades pouring in for Mr. Adeyemi’s exemplary leadership and years of service.
