New Omachi Ata Igala pledges peace, progress in community

The newly beaded Omachi Ata Igala of Ayeye community in Ofu Local Government Area, Chief Muhammed Ibrahim, has pledged to champion peace, unity, and progress in his domain as well as across Igala kingdom.

He made the pledge shortly after he was decorated at the palace of the Ata Igala,HRM, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, in Idah.

Chief Muhammed Ibrahim , thanked the Ata Igala for the confidence reposed in him as well as the honor, while promising to use his position to attract development to Igala land.

He equally pledged to prioritise peace and unity which he noted were essential for attaining meaningful development in the community and across Igala kingdom.

On his part, the Ata Igala and paramount ruler of Igala kingdom, HRM, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, charged the new Omachi Ata Ayeye, to be a good ambassador of the land in conduct and exemplary service to humanity.

He equally encouraged him to use his new position in advancing humanity and contributing to the overall development of the society.

The Ata than used the occasion to appeal to Igala sons and daughters of Ayeye community at home and abroad to cooperate and support him, stressing that collective effort was vital in building the kind of communities they desired.
